The attorney fees for a Chapter 13 case vary. You must pay $575 before the case will be filed. Additional fees will be due during the plan. Currently the fee ranges from $2,000.00 for simple fillings up to $2,500.00 for more complicated cases.
All bankruptcy filers must complete a credit counseling course as well as a debtor education course. Our office does not provide these courses. The providers may charge you a fee ranging from $18.00 to $50.00 , depending on the provider and the method by which you take the class. Please remember to ask if you qualify to have your fees waived.
